New寶媽九月的暑假英文課很有意思。

英文寫作課老師Sarah，要學生們提出物品、人物和地方，在白板上列表:

(1).物品 (object): 例如卡車、鞋子、玩具等。

(2).人物 (people): 例如消防隊員、司機、歌唱家、林肯等。

(3).地方(place): 例如超級市場、大峽谷、爾灣、公園等。

Peter was a truck driver. He had to deliver pigs and chickens between Irvine and the Grand Canyon everyday. When he was a child, he had a fluffy toy, Furby. He loved the Furby very much, so he took his lovely Furby with him in his truck. When he drove, he controlled the steering wheel in his right hand, he held his Furby as tight as he could in his left hand. When he felt tired driving, he put the Furby on his head. When the chickens and pigs fought in the truck, Peter asked his Furby to control the angry and noisy animals behind him.

彼得是一個卡車司機。他每一天在爾灣市和大峽谷之間運送雞和豬。當他還是個孩子時，他有一個菲比(Furby)絨毛玩具。因著他非常喜愛菲比，就把可愛的菲比帶到卡車上。當他開車時，用右手控制方向盤，而左手竭盡所能的緊緊握住菲比。他開累時，就把菲比放在他的頭上。當雞和豬在卡車上打架時，彼得就要求菲比控制在他後方既生氣又吵鬧的動物們。

One day, Peter was depressed. He and the Furby sat under the moon light in the Grand Canyon . Suddenly, a shooting star hit the Furby. The Furby was burned out by the shooting star. Therefore, poor Peter wanted to catch the shooting star with a big and shiny hammer. Peter hoped that the shooting star could give him a new Furby.

有一天，彼得覺得沮喪。於是，他和菲比一同坐在大峽谷的月光下。突然，一顆流星擊中菲比，將菲比燒盡。所以，可憐的彼得拿著一把閃亮的大鎚子，想要抓住流星。他希望流星能還給他一個新的菲比。
